Web Developer

We are currently seeking developers at all levels with experience in Object Orientated back-end web development.

Understanding of standards-based Web development and producing accessible sites is a key requirement. The successful candidates will need to become self sufficient in Python and related technologies including including SQL, XML and Javascript. The position will involve designing the architecture of solutions as well as developing well crafted, readable and maintainable code.

Our main platform is Django, so the experience of Python would be highly advantageous, but candidates with solid working knowledge of other object orientated languages will be considered. Ability and aptitude is more important than experience, so the position may suit a recent graduate. Willingness to learn and the right attitude to work in a demanding position are key requirements.

Account Manager

An experienced Account Manager is now required to undertake a number of duties within the Edinburgh office. These will include:

  • Dealing with existing Clients enquires; Analysis of daily change and support requests
  • Reporting to clients regularly with updates until completion
  • Ensuring tasks are delivered on time and to budget
  • Contacting customers to advise of new services the Company offer
  • Managing support contracts, invoicing and reporting

You will need to have industry experience and have knowledge of usability, SEO & accessibility.

Experience of any of the following is also desirable:

  • Project Management — generating proposals to Clients; organising time scales, costs and ensure work is completed by staff on time and within budget; full lifecycle management. Prince II qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Business Analysis — generating detailed requirements documents.

This is a senior role and as such the successful applicant will need to demonstrate patience, outstanding communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships. You will be confident liaising with Clients and attending meetings.

Business Analyst

We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join a growing team. You will be responsible for organising complex and challenging business requirements as well as analysing the needs of the customer and the customer's business.

As a Business Analyst your skills and experience will ideally include:

  • Exposure within the web development / implementation industry
  • Strong understanding of business concepts — ideally within web-based applications
  • Ability to understanding a customers underlying business needs and objectives
  • Suggesting creative and innovative solutions
  • Strong communicator of ideas with all business stakeholders
  • Requirements gathering and documentation, including use case development
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, co-ordinating with the technical, project and account managers thought-out the full life cycle of projects
  • Knowledge of usability, accessibility and SEO design for the web
  • The ability to sustain a high quality of work whilst delivering to tight timescales
  • Excellent attention to detail
